INTRODUCTION

Mirror Drive is a selectable hardware RAID enclosure for two 3.5" SATA HDD. A true hardware solution, Mirror Drive requires no software to be installed on your machine.

It provides 4 hardware RAID mode:

RAID 1 (Mirroring): for two disks with same capacity.
RAID 0 (Striping): for two disks with same capacity.
Spanning: for two disks with different capacity.
Non-RAID (JBOD).

RAID 1 (Mirroring):
By mirroring technique, Mirror Drive maintains data in two disk drives simultaneously and securely. If one drive fails, Mirror Drive automatically switches operations to the functional drive and alert the failure. Once a new HDD is installed to replace the defective drive, the Mirror Drive will automatic rebuild the entire HDD image in the background, while providing the un-interrupt data connection to the system

RAID 0 (Striping) and Spanning:
By striping/ spanning technique, Mirror Drive integrates two HDDs into a big drive.

Mirror Drive provides the cost-effective solution for data backup.

Provides Keylock
One 40x40 mm cooling fan
Error indicator LED and HDD Access LED for each SATA drive
Provides RAID setting switch in the rear panel

Auto-Rebuilding function enables you to backup the hard disk off-line. (RAID 1)

HDD Power Connector: Two mini 4-pin Floppy Disk Drive like power connectors
USB 2.0 Port: One USB B-Type connector
USB Bus Transfer Rate: High Speed (480 Mbit) And Full Speed (12 Mbit)
USB Bus Power: Self Powered Mode Operation
FireWire Port:: Two FireWire 800 (IEEE 1394b) Biligual 9pin Connectors
1394 Bus Transfer Rate: 100/200/400/800 Mbps
SATA Port: Two SATA Signal 7pin Connectors
SATA Transfer Rate: 150Mbytes/s
