INTRODUCTION

Mirror Drive is a selectable hardware RAID enclosure for two 3.5" SATA HDD. A true hardware solution, Mirror Drive requires no software to be installed on your machine.

It provides 4 hardware RAID mode:

RAID 1 (Mirroring):
By mirroring technique, Mirror Drive maintains data in two disk drives simultaneously and securely. If one drive fails, Mirror Drive automatically switches operations to the functional drive and alert the failure. Once a new HDD is installed to replace the defective drive, the Mirror Drive will automatic rebuild the entire HDD image in the background, while providing the un-interrupt data connection to the system

RAID 0 (Striping) and Spanning:
By striping/ spanning technique, Mirror Drive integrates two HDDs into a big drive.

Mirror Drive provides the cost-effective solution for data backup.

  • Auto-Rebuilding function enables you to backup the hard disk off-line. (RAID 1)
  • Support On-Line Auto-Rebuilding (RAID 1)
  • No HDD size limitation
  • Windows ME/2000/XP/2003; MacOS 9.1 or higher; Linux MAC

3). AC to DC Power Adapter

1). FireWire 800 (IEEE 1394b) & USB 2.0 to SATA Bridge Board:

  • DC Power Connector: Walkman-type 2.0 mm DC Jack
  • HDD Power Connector: Two mini 4-pin Floppy Disk Drive like power connectors
  • USB 2.0 Port: One USB B-Type connector
  • USB Bus Transfer Rate: High Speed (480 Mbit) And Full Speed (12 Mbit)
  • USB Bus Power: Self Powered Mode Operation
  • FireWire Port:: Two FireWire 800 (IEEE 1394b) Biligual 9pin Connectors
  • 1394 Bus Transfer Rate: 100/200/400/800 Mbps
  • SATA Port: Two SATA Signal 7pin Connectors
  • SATA Transfer Rate: 150Mbytes/s

2). Aluminum made housing (Dual 3.5" Bays Enclosure) :

  • Provides two mobile tray for 3.5" SATA HDD
  • SATA HDD direct connect to SATA cable (no converting P.C.B required)
  • Support both SATA (1.5 Gbit/sec) and SATA II (3.0 Gbit/sec)
  • Provides Keylock
  • Error indicator LED and HDD Access LED for each SATA drive

  • Power Switch on the rear panel.
  • Provide a 40mm X 40mm cooling fan on the rear panel
