U2EIDE525D-1 is a USB 2.0 to IDE (ATA/ATAPI) external enclosure ideally suited for tailgating interface applications for removable-media drives - CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-ROM, DVD-RAM, tape drive, and hard disk drive. U2EIDE525D-1 is designed to enable hot-swap/ plug-and-play operation for IDE (ATA/ATAPI) devices with the connection to USB 2.0 or USB 1.0 interface installed on a computer. U2EIDE525D-1 allows users to easily hot-swap IDE devices without interrupting the currently running operations. U2EIDE525-1 provides the perfect solution for data backup and transferring of data between computers using IDE (ATA/ATAPI) devices. It allows IDE drives (Master and Slave) to connect to the high-speed USB 2.0 serial bus in a plug-and-play fashion. |
