SPMH141-35Q is one -to- four SATA Port Multiplier storage enclosure for four 3.5" HDDs. It is designed to provide a high performance link between a single SATA2 host port and 4 SATA device ports. With its unique data aggregation and 3Gbps serial link capacity, it support 4SATA or SATA2 device with auto-negotiation features over one single eSATA connector.

1). SATAPMH141i (One to Four SATA Port Multiplier)

  • Provides an eSATA host and 4 SATA device connectors.
  • Supports SATA 1.5 Gbps and SATA 3.0 Gbps communication speed on host and device ports.
  • Provides Host and Device status LEDs (link & activity).
  • Hot-plug and ATAPI support
  • Supports host control of hard disk drive staggered spin-up

2). SATA Back Plane (Metal + Cable)

  • SATA HDD can be installed easily.
  • SATA HDD connect to SATA cable (signal and power) directly.

3). Four 3.5" Bays SCSI Enclosure

  • Anodized Aluminum Design
  • Provide Power Switch on the back panel
  • Built-in 200W (12V/10A, 5V/12A) power supply/ Universal auto-switching 100-240V AC
  • Built-in 80x80 mm cooling fan
  • Power LED.
  • Provides one host SATA link & activity LED.
  • Provides four SATA link & activity LEDs.

bluebullet.gif (834 bytes) Coupling with proper host controllers such as Silicon Image Sil3124/Sil3132 and Marvel 88SE61xx (88SE6111, 88SE6121, 88SE6145), SPMH141-35Q - SATA II port multiplier, a high reliable and extremely fast variety of storage applications (RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, Concatenated and JBOD). 
 
  • Full support for FIS-based switching and command-based switching SATA host controllers.
  • FIS-based switching in conjunction with the following SATA host controllers.
    • Marvell SATA host controllers:
      • 88SX6042
      • 88SX7042
      • 88SE6145
      • 88SE6121
      • 88SE6111
    • Silicon Image SATA host controllers:
      • Sil3132
      • Sil3124
  • Marvell Specific Mode.
    • Queued command-based switching mode for Marevll 88SX6041 and 88SX6081.
